The Very Hungry Caterpillar Felt Set by Candyland Studio

Today’s Felt Fun Friday project couldn’t wait until Friday, because TODAY is the 45th anniversary of the pre-school classic, The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.

I’ve had this set on my To Do list for months, so today seemed to be the perfect day for it to make its debut, don’t ya think?!

I love it. Just absolutely love it. I say this over and over, but each new set is my new favorite. I can’t help it, it’s just so darn cute!

My girls love it too. With 23 large pieces that range from a 14″ caterpillar to a 10″ butterfly and the most adorable 5″ felt cupcake I’ve ever seen in my life 😉 they are perfect for little hands. Each piece is made with 2+ layers of bold colored felt, the back layer is expertly cut from stiff black felt making them nice and durable.

A girl after my own heart, Kayden promptly grabbed all the sweet treats from the board. =)
